Last Days by Gus Van Sant

Blake (Mike Pitt) is a man on the verge of paranoia. Nobody from his close social environment seems to care about his personal inner battle for breaking out of his mythical life. His only way out is the nature, the music and his personal notes. Finally, this tragic persona maybe found his expiation in a place quite faraway from this planet. However, this movie is for sure the most original and unconventional tribute to a rock legend as Kurt Cobain.

Gonna like it: cause, while the director holds a diamond (Kurt Cobain & Nirvana) for a Hollywood music blockbuster, instead of it he prefers to concentrate on filming a movie with 100% of unsettling Gus Van Sant’s style.

Gonna hate it: cause, as a Nirvana aficionado, you’re waiting for a biographic movie with lot of “Smells like teen spirit” like music, unrevealed info for the last days and death of the legend, as well as hot details of his relationship with Kortney Love. But, no; it’s not your movie.
